For those of you who don't know me, I'm Liz  - If you didn't read the About Us page, here is a bit about Cloud9, where we started from and where we are going in the future.

Over 300 children have benefited from Mark Bosley’s original dream to have the opportunity of an all expenses paid holiday of a lifetime despite the restrictions of their illness and disability.
For the past 20 years Cloud 9 has organized accompanied trips to Orlando Florida, visiting Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM and many other exciting places. The highlight of their holiday was to swim with the Dolphins at Discovery Cove. Photographs of these wonderful exciting holidays are displayed via the link above.

Over the years the charity has gained appreciation from the trip families themselves and recognition within the community as one of the leading voluntary children’s charities in Gloucestershire. In June 2005 the charity was awarded the QUEENS’S GOLDEN JUBILEE AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE an honour that confirms the validity of the work the charity aims to do for local children.

2006 brought exciting new developments, Cloud 9… ever developing and improving had reached its pinnacle of success as far as accompanied trips had gone and still sought to help more children in one way or another. The Cloud 9 waiting list for holidays was full to overflowing but for as many children who were old enough and well enough to travel just as many were being turned away because they were too young, too ill or they didn’t meet the charities inflexible criteria. Cloud 9 needed to ensure that no child would be denied access to this specifically raised funding. In Feb 2007 this forward looking local charity decided to develop and advance to accommodate the dreams of many more sick children. To continue to offer Cloud 9 children a dream holiday has and always will be the charities aim. The new developments incorporate the reason the charity began. Mark Boseley shared his dream with his father and it was time to resurrect Marks experience…………..In 2007 the idea of family centred Cloud 9 holidays was born………. Cloud 9 can and will offer holidays to more children than ever before………our resolution remains as strong as it ever did…………..

To every story there is a beginning middle and an end……….to ensure Mark’s dream never ends help us to help local children to experience the DREAM of doing whatever they want to do on their holiday regardless of disease or disability without the worry of parents affording to do it……….
